Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication Sector Skill Council is an Autonomous Industry lead Not for Profit Organization under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. It is promoted by the Industry with financial support from National Skill Development Corporation.

IASC SSC role is as follows



  • Identify and develop Skill Manpower Development Plan for the Instrumentation, Automation, Surveillance and Communication sectors.
  • Develop National Occupation Standards & Qualification Packs (Skill development Courses) in accordance with National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
  • Certify Skilled Manpower under NSQF
  • Identify & accredit Training Providers & Assessors for the various courses.
  • Plan and facilitate the execution of Training of Trainers along with NSDC and the States.
